Well the holiday season is here it seems... I did my first show last weekend at Fraser High School and they had the Christmas music going. It did raise my spirits... and I noticed a lot of smiles all around me. I love the holidays where everyone takes a break from todays rat race and takes a little breather to enjoy some family time and friends. 

Well, I will once again have the Chocolate Moonshine Bars available for the holidays. They are gluten free, all natural ingredients, no artificial flavorings. Their available in 24 flavors and you can create your own gift box for your family and friends.

No Matter How Long The Winter, Spring Is Sure To Follow

Although it does seem somewhat doubtful after having to pull out the winter boots once again this morning. Scraping snow off my windshield, I thought I must be having a bad dream. But, frozen fingers was proof I was not. 

 Just yesterday, it felt so good slipping on my favorite flip flops. Two nights ago, I enjoyed a peaceful night sleeping with windows open and frogs croaking in the pond outside my bedroom window. Isn’t it great to be a Michigander, at least we all know within the week we’ll probably be slipping the flip flops back on again.

 With all that in mind, I ordered some really awesome garden shoes today. They should be arriving early next week. Hopefully, just in time to clean out our flower beds and gardens.

Moonshine Bars have been a hit!!!


Finished up at the mall and have been back on the road doing shows again. I was getting a lot of people asking me... "What are they?" So I would give them a sample, their eyes would roll back in their head and it was most oftened followed by a "Wow!!!"

 All I can say is my sentiments exactly. Trust me... it’s been really tough not eating up my profits. Once in a while I’ll question myself, wondering are they really that good. So of course I have to give it the ole taste test.

 It’s rough living the life of a Chocolatier!!!

Chocolate Moonshine Co. opening soon!

As noted in my last blog... I’ve started a new business called Chocolate Moonshine Co. I will be opening a kiosk at Genesee Valley Mall during the holidays November 15-January 15. I will be located down the Sears wing with some wonderful fudge and gourmet chocolates. So, please stop by the Chocolate Moonshine Co. for some samples and great Christmas gifts. 

 I will have some new Moonshine Artisan Bars available in 33 flavors. They are going to be great Christmas gifts or the party packs will be wonderful treats to take to family and friends for holiday parties.

Summer is sadly coming to an end...

However, I am looking forward to a lot of great upcoming fall events. I started a new business this summer called Goodies Chocolatier. You may have had the opportunity to try some of the yummy fudge at some of the various shows I attended this summer. I have enjoyed watching everyones expressions as they sampled some of the best fudge you’ll ever taste. Once we get some cooler temperatures, I will be bringing out the gourmet chocolates! I promise... you won’t be disappointed! Your going to love the Pecan and Cashew Turtles, Pretzels Gone Wild, Chocolate Covered Oreo’s, Marshmallow’s, Almond Bark, Caramel/Chocolate Covered Apples, Chocolate Covered Expresso Beans and Almonds, plus much more!

 As for Sweet-N-Chic, I just received the final shipment of sandals for the year! If your like me, I keep the sandals on as long as possible. I’m sure there’s still a lot of beautiful sunny days left. If your taking a vacation somewhere warm this winter you will want to be prepared with a cute yet comfortable pair of shoes!!! I’m also getting in some really cute tie dyed maxie skirts and cabbie hats. Looking for a  really nice Fedora or Outback / Safari Hat, I have some really nice ones by Stetson for men and women.

 For the fall and winter months... I found some awesome knitted scarves and really cute Tuscan styled tops that will be adorable with leggings and boots. I’m keeping my fingers cross that I will have them for the Peach Festival in Romeo.

2012 Show Schedule


The chill is in the air, bringing us all the beautiful colors of Fall!
