Moonshine Bars have been a hit!!!

Finished up at the mall and have been back on the road doing shows again. I was getting a lot of people asking me... "What are they?" So I would give them a sample, their eyes would roll back in their head and it was most oftened followed by a "Wow!!!"

All I can say is my sentiments exactly. Trust me... it’s been really tough not eating up my profits. Once in a while I’ll question myself, wondering are they really that good. So of course I have to give it the ole taste test.

As noted in my last blog... I’ve started a new business called Chocolate Moonshine Co. I will be opening a kiosk at Genesee Valley Mall during the holidays November 15-January 15. I will be located down the Sears wing with some wonderful fudge and gourmet chocolates. So, please stop by the Chocolate Moonshine Co. for some samples and great Christmas gifts. 

I will have some new Moonshine Artisan Bars available in 33 flavors. They are going to be great Christmas gifts or the party packs will be wonderful treats to take to family and friends for holiday parties.

Summer is sadly coming to an end...

However, I am looking forward to a lot of great upcoming fall events. I started a new business this summer called Goodies Chocolatier. You may have had the opportunity to try some of the yummy fudge at some of the various shows I attended this summer. I have enjoyed watching everyones expressions as they sampled some of the best fudge you’ll ever taste. Once we get some cooler temperatures, I will be bringing out the gourmet chocolates! I promise... you won’t be disappointed! Your going to love the Pecan and Cashew Turtles, Pretzels Gone Wild, Chocolate Covered Oreo’s, Marshmallow’s, Almond Bark, Caramel/Chocolate Covered Apples, Chocolate Covered Expresso Beans and Almonds, plus much more!

As for Sweet-N-Chic, I just received the final shipment of sandals for the year! If your like me, I keep the sandals on as long as possible. I’m sure there’s still a lot of beautiful sunny days left. If your taking a vacation somewhere warm this winter you will want to be prepared with a cute yet comfortable pair of shoes!!! I’m also getting in some really cute tie dyed maxie skirts and cabbie hats. Looking for a  really nice Fedora or Outback / Safari Hat, I have some really nice ones by Stetson for men and women.

For the fall and winter months... I found some awesome knitted scarves and really cute Tuscan styled tops that will be adorable with leggings and boots. I’m keeping my fingers cross that I will have them for the Peach Festival in Romeo.

Good Guys Street Rod Show in Nashville!!!

Busy packing my bags and getting ready to go to the Good Guys Street Rod Show in Nashville, TN - May 18-19-20. Just watched the YouTube video and I’m getting geeked. I’ve never been to Nashville and I hear its really fun. I have been busy shopping and I have my SUV packed full of really adorable sundresses, hats, sandals, some really cute jewelry scarves... 


I’m especially looking forward to this trip as my daughter Heather and her bf Stan, will be joining me, where we will be celebrating Heather’s birthday...  And the icing on the cake... my son Bryan and his wife Nicole will be meeting us along with my little pride and joys... grandchildren Kristian and Jasmine. I haven’t seen them in a couple years and Bryan even longer, as they all live in Atlanta.  I am so looking forward to some xoxo, cheek pinching and I know a lot of laughs and giggles.

Michigan International Women’s Show

The Michigan International Women’s Show will be at the Suburban Collection Showplace - Thursday, May 3- Sunday, May 6th.

If your anything like me... I have always been fascinated with England’s royalty. Last year the week of the show, we all witnessed the marriage of Kate and William. All eyes were not only on Kate Middleton who seems to create a fashion frenzy wherever she goes; but also her bridal party with all of their extravagant hats.

Although it was Princess Diana, who was the first princess to capture our attention as a fashion icon, humanitarian and The People’s Princess. Her beauty and grace touched people throughout the world. Now this year at the International Women’s Show, you will be able to see first hand the Royal Dresses of Diana, the People’s Princess. A collection of her most famous gowns will be displayed. This special exhibit showcases her iconic fashions and milestones. The exhibit follows her journey from childhood, to her engagement and wedding, her role as a devoted mother, her charity work and her untimely death. I hope you are able to take this opportunity to experience the beauty and legacy of Diana.

We had a lot of ladies at our booth last year inspired by the wedding to try out our great selection of floppy, fedora, cabbie and a variety of other sun hats. This year we have even more great hats! We will also have a new selection of sun dresses, scarves, capes, ear charms and purses. 

Those special little things that can reveal the princess in all of us!
